How service relates to learning

In order for learning to take place, service must be put in.  In order to get the true learning experience the learner must put forth an effort to learn.   An easy way to learn is to Provide a service for another.  Not only does this show you what its like to be in someone else's shoes, but it shows you how bad some people actually have it.  This will also make you feel good about what you did after you are done.  Providing service for another person is usually a very touching thing to do, you don't just learn about others, but you learn a lot about yourself.
